Location: Vesper

Cool Sys is seeking a hands-on Foreman to lead HVAC-R installation and maintenance crews within our Engineering & Maintenance department. In this role, you will coordinate field work for wholesale and commercial projects, oversee technicians, and ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant installations. You'll plan daily tasks, review drawings, manage materials, and maintain quality standards while delivering reliable, customer-focused service. As a working leader, you'll coach team members, support troubleshooting, and help drive continuous improvement and technical excellence across projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise HVAC-R installation and maintenance crews on commercial projects
  • Plan daily work, assign tasks, and ensure safe, code-compliant execution
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specs, and job scopes
  • Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment for efficient field operations
  • Inspect work quality and ensure adherence to Cool
  • Sys standards and customer requirements
  • Troubleshoot HVAC-R systems and support technicians with technical issues
  • Train, coach, and mentor field technicians to build skills and safety awareness
  • Communicate job status, issues, and progress with project managers and customers
  • Enforce safety policies and participate in job hazard assessments
  • Document work completed, time, and materials accurately
