Maintenance Technician Lead 2nd Shift

Alsum Farms & Produce, a leader in sustainable agriculture and provider of high-quality produce, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our farming equipment and facilities. The Maintenance Technician will play a key role in supporting our commitment to sustainability and superior service by ensuring all machinery and infrastructures are operating optimally and up-to-date with the latest sustainable technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to functional systems.
• Perform regular servicing and maintenance of planting and harvesting equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with management to implement and refine maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Support the implementation of new agricultural technologies with an emphasis on sustainability and energy efficiency.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Document and record maintenance and repair work for compliance and reporting purposes.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in using tools and equipment required for maintenance tasks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
