Green Bay Packaging is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support our high-volume manufacturing operations. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on corrugated packaging and converting equipment. Responsibilities include performing preventive and predictive maintenance, reading electrical and mechanical schematics, and supporting PLC-driven machinery. Working on-site in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment, you will help ensure reliable equipment performance while contributing to our long-term, sustainable manufacturing goals.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery and related control systems.
- Install, align, and adjust motors, drives, conveyors, and related components.
- Follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and housekeeping standards in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
- Document work in the CMMS and communicate status with operations and supervision.
- Collaborate with operators, engineers, and other technicians to improve equipment performance.
- Support equipment upgrades, rebuilds, and continuous improvement projects.
- Participate in on-call or off-shift support as needed to minimize downtime.
