Duties:
1. Serve as the liaison for the Wellness Court Team including taking a lead role at staff meetings, disseminating program information from all treatment providers, probation officers, prosecutors, defense attorneys, law enforcement officers, and the judge.
2. Meet with each participant as required by their phase requirements and aftercare.
3. Track referral eligibility utilizing and report to the Wellness Court Team.
4. Track participant progress, data collection, data dissemination, and maintain all spreadsheets accurately and timely.
5. Obtain necessary information from treatment providers and coordinating agencies for the maintenance of accurate, up-to?date records.
6. Network with other agencies to provide maximum access and use of available programs to better serve the population and assist in conducting outreach services.
7. Conduct program orientation with all participants.
8. Report all non-compliance issues to respective Wellness Court Team.
9. Print sanction histories in preparation of termination proceedings; attends all termination hearings and updates treatment court team. 10. Must work respectfully with all participants of the Wellness Court. 11. Assist in coordination for process regarding client eligibility. 12. Coordinate observed UA tests on program participants as ordered by the Wellness Court. UA collections may be performed on weekends. 13. Maintain confidentiality or records, secure appropriate releases from participants as necessary to provide and coordinate case management and program services.

14. Complete routine office tasks such as maintaining and updating case files.

Qualifications:

1. General knowledge of Oneida Judiciary organizational structure and treatment services operations.
2. General knowledge of the causes and effects of substance abuse and effective treatments.
3. Possess experience and skill in developing effective working relationships with other departments and the public.
4. Experience in motivational interviewing, trauma informed care, and strengths-based practice.
5. Coordinator must perform duties without extensive supervision. Work is assigned in general terms, requiring the coordinator to determine the process by which the work should be completed.
6. Knowledge of and skills with general office equipment, computers, and applications to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
7. Possess an acute attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations.
8. Knowledgeable of Oneida Nation laws and court processes.
9. Knowledgeable of Oneida culture, kinship and other Oneida Nation accepted beliefs and lifeways. 10. Possess organizational management skills, including planning, organizing, and scheduling priorities efficiently and effectively. 11. Ability to meet strict deadlines and successfully cope with challenging situations and conditions. 12. Foster a positive working environment. 13. Ability to work as a team member. 14. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

15. Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in writing. 16. Possess a strong sense of focus, be task-orientated and impartial. 17. Ability to work in a variety of settings with culturally diverse families and communities with the ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate.
