Purpose of PositionUnder the directed supervision of the Children, Youth and Families Program Manager, this position determines the eligibility and need for children's long-term support services and provides individuals and families with a wide range of social services designed to overcome personal, family, financial, or health problems. This position is responsible for determining client functional and financial eligibility for the CLTS program. Work entails taking on a case load, exploratory and diagnostic intake, case planning, and performing social services tasks appropriate to the client's needs.
The position assures continued eligibility for CLTS services through monitoring of services, monitoring of costs, and ongoing follow-up assessment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Human Services related field from an accredited college or university. Certified Social Worker by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional. A valid driver's license and available transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters' degree in Social Work or Human Services related field from an accredited college or university. Certified Social Worker by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. One year full-time paid Social Work experience with the CLTS target populations. Completion of statutorily (s. 48.981 (8) (d)) required Social Worker Pre-Service training and/or Certified Child Functional Screener is also preferred. Interviewing, counseling, and communication skills.
Salary starting at $28.53-$32.61 per hour (depending on qualifications).
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, criminal justice, or other human service program.
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) to two (2) years of experience in Human Service work. Knowledge of Wisconsin Statutes Chapters 48 and 938. Courtroom experience. Salary starting at $26.25-$30.00 per hour (depending on qualifications).
This position is a FT 40 hours per week Monday
