Richland Center Free Methodist

Richland Center is a the county seat of Richland County in the beautiful rolling hills of western Wisconsin. The region is known as the Driftless area of Southern Wisconsin and Richland Center is a population of just over 5,000 people. It is about an hour’s drive from Madison to the East and a bout 90 minutes from the Mississippi River to the west.

This is a predominantly white community with very small minority population in the area. Wal-Mart is the primary market for groceries and goods, though there is a thriving farmer’s market and numerous Amis markets as well as other small shops/restaurants in the downtown area. Along with public schools there is also a private Catholic school and Eagle Christian school. This church offers an excellent base of families and leaders, and a very comfortable and spacious parsonage.

Richland Center is a family church with active members and recent baptisms and membership additions. We are looking for an experienced pastor who can acclimate to this context of ministry and build on the solid base of this congregation. We are seeking the following in a leader.

• Clarity in lifestyle and teaching consistent with the Scriptures
• Ability to develop a multiplying discipleship system reaching the community
• Identify and mobilize leaders
• Facilitate Spirit-led worship and ministry
• Affirm and grow the family relationships within the body
