Note:
This is a hybrid role that requires travel from our Schofield, WI campus. 75% onsite, 25% remote.
As an Application Developer I you will provide application development support using standard, well-defined methods to support Greenheck business processes. You may support third-party software or in-house developed applications.
What You’ll Be Doing- Develop, modify, and maintain application software to support internal and external business processes.
- Meet with analysts and project leaders to understand requirements and timelines.
- Maintain existing code under guidance from the team.
- Perform unit testing on programming changes.
- Document program revisions.
- Develop application and training documentation that is clear, succinct, accurate, and detailed.
- Assist in creating or maintaining installation and troubleshooting guides for developed programs.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day application issues and provide debugging support as needed.
- Test and identify best solutions and create solution documents.
- Provide support during outages, job failures, implementations, etc.
- With guidance from systems analysts and other developers, translate system requirements/technical specifications during development.
- Understand functional business requirements and deliverables for assigned work.
- Break down work into simple tasks and plan technical implementation.
- Assist in defining system scope and objectives through research to develop or modify basic applications.
- May participate on project teams with business analysts and end-users.
- May work with other developers on code-related tasks.
- Communicate with business/system analysts and other developers to discuss specifications and business processes.
- Participate in meetings with personnel from other areas of the company.
- Engage in technical discussions with other developers and communicate issues clearly to the team.
- Collaborate openly, voice concerns, and escalate roadblocks as needed.
- Minimum travel is required.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
- 2-year/Associate Degree or equivalent experience required.
- 4-year/Bachelor Degree preferred.
- Experience with .NET and SQL is a plus.
- Familiarity with REST endpoints is a plus.
- Manufacturing experience is required.
Greenheck Group offers competitive total compensation and a comprehensive benefits package as part of our total rewards program. The starting base pay range for this position is $67,555-$83,450 and may vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
