As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer at Penske, you’ll fuel, wash, and ensure vehicles are clean and safe before they hit the road again. You will be the face of Penske when greeting customers and sending them off with a smile.

Main Responsibilities
  • Greeting our customers and ensuring they have a great experience as you fuel and wash vehicles
  • Performing vehicle readiness inspections to verify tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items
  • Helping keep facilities clean and safe for customers and associates
  • Building skills through training and hands-on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance
  • Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

General Requirements
  • High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Willingness to work outdoors
  • Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to understand and comply with Penske instructions, guidelines, rules and policies
  • Adherence to DOT, OSHA and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including tool selection, PPE, machine guarding, and safe practices
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance
  • Ability to drive Penske and customer vehicles; requires a current driver qualification file per role, including MVR checks, DOT Physical, and Safety History records; CDL holders may have a DOT drug screen and FMCSA Clearinghouse review
  • Willingness to work the required schedule, at the required location, and to complete background checks and drug testing as required

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a safe, alert state is required. Associates must take responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others.
