School Bus Driver North Prairie

Job Responsibilities

• Get students to and from school safely and on time.
• Drive route confidently in all kinds of weather and traffic.
• Create a respectful, safe environment on the bus.
• Build great connections with students, parents, and school staff.
• Help students who need a little extra assistance getting on or off the bus.
• Keep vehicle clean, fueled, and ready to roll.
• Handle daily safety checks and basic maintenance.
• Follow all transportation laws, school policies, and route directions.

• Class A or B CDL or willingness to obtain one (training provided).
• Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements, or ability to obtain them.
• Clean driving record with ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
• Great communication skills and calm, friendly attitude.
• Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Desire to be a positive influence in community.
