Import​/Export Coordinator

Job Description

The Import/Export Coordinator will be responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative support to ensure efficiency and maximize customer trust for BW Paper systems.

• Act as a liaison between third‑party logistics companies and BW Paper systems to process and monitor freight claims.
• Process imports and exports using internal business systems.
• Create and update metrics and visualizations to communicate performance indicators to operations and leadership teams.
• Make continual process changes and adapt own performance in order to meet the organization’s needs.
• Examine contents and compare with records to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.
• Ensure that carriers are notified for freight pick‑up and that the freight is routed properly.
• Prepare bills of lading and shipping manifests.
• Trace shipments and obtain proof of delivery.
• Answer inquiries regarding shipping status and expedite shipment when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and Teams.
• Proficiency with MAPICS, Infor
  
  XA, Power BI, and Varsity desired.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing and transportation processes.

This is a first‑shift position that will participate in an on‑call evening and weekend rotation to support global transportation needs.
