Delivery Driver

Our busy grocery store group is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Delivery Driver/Order picker. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to our store locations, reviewing, and pulling orders prior to delivery, loading, and unloading trucks. We will provide training to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn.

• Pick merchandise from the stores warehouse areas and transport it to the shipping area.
• Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify its contents.
• Count and stock merchandise based on inventory control log.
• Identify damaged, lost, or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately.
• Pack orders in an orderly manner and close cartons so they are prepared for shipping.
• Treat merchandise with care and concern always.
• Train and support new employees as they are on-boarded.
• Conduct inspections of vehicles before departing to deliver goods.
• Pack and load products onto trucks according to company’s specifications.
• Deliver orders to store locations.
• Maintain ongoing communication with warehouse manager.
• Unload goods as per warehouse/store manager specifications.

• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum 1 year’s experience as Delivery Driver
• Clean driving record
• Strong customer service skills
• Must possess a positive and professional attitude.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Current forklift certification a plus
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work on feet and carry objects weighing up to 80 lbs.
