What You'll Do:

The Receiving Coordinator, under the direction of the Distribution and Warehouse Supervisor, will be responsible for leading the process of receiving goods brought to the Juneau facility from outside suppliers excluding returned customer goods. The Receiving Coordinator is a key member of the team ensuring inventory accuracy within the Juneau facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Examines incoming shipments and reject damaged items; appropriately report/record any discrepancies
  • Performs the receiving transitions in a timely manner within SAP to ensure inventory is accurate
  • Managing and monitoring outbound returns and dunnage
  • Prepares RMA shipments to be sent back to suppliers
  • Creates, prints, and attaches Bills of Lading (BOLs) for each outbound shipment
  • Prepares and process transfer documentation accurately in WHOPS
  • Stages materials for the material handlers to move to a final location in the facility
  • Correctly performs the material transfer for shipments from outside storage locations to the Juneau facility
  • Files and organize all shipping and transfer documentation to ensure audit compliance
  • Verifies dunnage weights and counts for accuracy
  • Collaborates and notify Supply Chain or Quality of any non-conforming shipments due to items shipped, quantities, or condition and then move the material to a designated hold area until dispositioned
  • Works with the Quality Department to facilitate First Article inspections where appropriate
  • Receives MRO shipments and notify recipients of the delivery
  • Distributes all business-related packages to the appropriate person in a timely manner
  • Unload shipments at the loading dock when needed
  • Keeps warehouse clean and organized on a daily basis
  • Participate in cross-functional training and help standardize warehouse procedures
  • Participates in shift meetings and team huddles to align on goals and daily priorities
  • Performs additional responsibilities when required
Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications -
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2+ years of receiving experience
  • Experience using SAP
  • Ability to get certified on all power equipment
  • Proficient in using scanners, handheld devices, and Google Workspace applications
  • Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional atmosphere in a fast-paced environment with numerous interactions and interruptions
  • High degree of initiative, self-motivation and ability to motivate others
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with Team Members and colleagues
  • Comfortable working in an environment with office pets (cats and dogs)
