Manage and monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accurate recording of stock. Address discrepancies and update records as needed. Order Fulfillment:
Supervise and participate in the picking, packing, and shipping processes. Ensure that orders are filled accurately and dispatched in a timely manner. Material Handling:
Operate and maintain advanced warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, and palletizers. Ensure proper handling and storage of materials. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipments, and receipts. Prepare reports on inventory levels, order status, and operational metrics. Safety and Compliance:
Enforce safety regulations and practices to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Customer Service:
Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to material handling or order fulfillment, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items safely and efficiently. Capability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Strong focus on accuracy in handling inventory, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Ability to spot and report discrepancies or defects in products. Skill in maintaining a neat and orderly warehouse, including proper storage of goods. Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in warehouse operations or material handling preferred.
Experience:
Previous warehouse experience with expertise in inventory management and equipment operation. A minimum of 1 year of forklift experience.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items safely; stand/walk for extended periods. Attention to Detail:
Ensure accuracy in all inventory and shipping activities. Problem-Solving:
Identify and resolve discrepancies or process inefficiencies. Technical
Skills:
SAP experience is strongly preferred. Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic data entry. Equipment Operation:
Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse machinery. Time Management & Flexibility:
Meet deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and work efficiently under pressure. Communication:
Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow written/verbal instructions. Work Environment:
Comfortable working in various conditions, including outdoor temperatures. The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $20 - $22 per hour.
