Based in Milwaukee, WI, we operate the largest fresh 48 state LTL consolidation pool with more than 100+ trucks, and offer multiple sites with cooler, and air-conditioned storage, distribution, and cross-docking services. We operate refrigerated and non-refrigerated warehouses for storage needs but also Value-Added Services such as specialty packing, kitting, and fulfillment needs.

The Warehouse Supervisor is directly responsible for all activities of the employees reporting to them. The supervisor will be responsible for either the day or night team that operates the warehouse. Supervisor ensures the following: safe work environment, exceptional sanitation, respectful and dignified treatment with all persons within the workplace, quality and quantity of work performed and maintaining customer relations.

• Regular punctual attendance is a requirement of this position

• Expected to work additional shift to cover other leads, office staff and other Supervisor’s PTO
  • Perform regular warehouse duties and other duties as assigned by management

• Nurture a safety minded culture
• Participate in incident investigations
• Maintain high sanitation standards
• Direct supervision of warehouse leads and employees
• Initiates and administers appropriate disciplinary actions when necessary.
• OS & D claim investigation and resolution
• Identify WMS system issues and work with IT for resolution
• Participate in off-hours meetings and trainings

• Ability to work in a range of temperatures
• Ability to read/write in English
• Ability to function & lead effectively in a team & fast paced environment
• Ability to follow & give instructions effectively
  
  Ability to safely bend and twist repeatedly
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Experience operating forklift or pallet jack
• Previous experience managing teams in a warehouse environment (preferred)
• Previous experience with RF controlled inventory systems
• Previous experience handling food products (preferred)
• Supervisor Experience (preferred)
