Warehouse Specialist

Drexel Building Supply is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support our fast-paced construction materials operation. In this role, you'll receive, organize, and stage lumber and building products, accurately pick and load orders, and help keep inventory precise and the warehouse organized. You'll operate forklifts and material-handling equipment, follow strong safety practices, and work closely with drivers, sales, and yard teams to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stock lumber, building materials, and supplies
• Accurately pick, stage, and load orders for contractors and builders
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely
• Maintain organized, clean, and clearly labeled warehouse areas
• Verify paperwork, tickets, and inventory counts in warehouse systems
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives
• Collaborate with drivers, sales, and yard teams to meet delivery timelines
• Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and company procedures
• Provide friendly, service-focused support to internal and external customers
• Assist in training new team members on warehouse processes and safety
