Anticipated Hourly Range: $29 - $37, Negotiable

At Boldt, we build more than complex projects; we build strong relationships, great teams, and lasting impact.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist who takes pride in delivering accurate, on-time payroll. In this role, you’ll support full-cycle payroll processing for both union and non-union employees, including hours reconciliation, tax with holdings, and union fringe benefits.

You’ll partner with field teams and corporate functions to resolve discrepancies, ensure compliance, and maintain payroll accuracy, while supporting processes like pay card administration and payroll reporting.

This is an opportunity to be part of a high-performing, collaborative team where accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement are valued—and where your work directly supports employee experience and business success.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $29 - $37 (negotiable) hourly. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.

What You Bring
  • Associate degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of payroll experience with at least 2 years of full-cycle payroll processing
  • Experience supporting union and non-union payroll environments
  • Understanding of payroll systems, tax with holdings, and compliance requirements
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and math skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Intermediate Microsoft O365 skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Nice To Have
  • Experience with union fringe benefit calculations and payments
  • Construction or multi-state payroll experience
  • Exposure to payroll audits and reporting
  • Experience with pay card administration and expense reimbursements

The Boldt Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
