The OpportunityThis is a senior-level role leading the direct sales function across the U.S. and Canada, with exceptional growth potential within a stable, family-owned organization. As Director of Sales, you'll oversee an established regional sales team, shape national sales strategy, and build strong relationships with key customers and partners. This role is ideal for ambitious sales leaders eager to accelerate their careers in precision manufacturing and technical sales.
You’ll also work closely with cross-functional teams in marketing, service, product management, and operations to support business growth and ensure long-term customer success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coach a team of regional sales professionals across North America
- Drive national sales strategy aligned with global objectives
- Set and manage sales targets using CRM and performance-tracking tools
- Strengthen relationships with key accounts and strategic partners
- Support regional and cross-border business development initiatives
- Collaborate internally to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns, service capabilities, and product direction
- Minimum 5 years of outside sales leadership in precision manufacturing, dimensional/optical measurement, capital equipment, or advanced industrial solutions
- Strong track record in coaching teams, managing territories, and delivering consistent sales performance
- Strategic thinking paired with a hands-on, collaborative approach
- Experience with data-driven sales management and CRM tools
- Technical aptitude and understanding of complex B2B buying environments
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field preferred
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% across the U.S. and Canada
