The anticipated salary range for this position is competitive. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
What You Bring- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field required; equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- Progressive construction or preconstruction experience ranging from early career (1–2 years) to senior-level (10+ years), depending on role scope.
- Valid driver’s license may be required; subject to Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) review in accordance with company policy.
- Excel and Microsoft O365 (required across all levels)
- Estimating and takeoff tools (e.g., Win Est, On-Screen Takeoff)
- Scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) for advanced roles
- Foundational to advanced understanding of construction documents, building systems, sitework, and general construction principles.
- Knowledge of estimating practices including material costs, labor productivity, and conceptual budgeting; depth of expertise aligned with level.
- Experience with bid types such as GMP and Lump Sum (Hard Bid) preferred/required for senior-level roles.
- Proficiency or ability to develop proficiency in construction coding systems (Master Format, Uniformat, CSI).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; ability to manage, interpret, and validate large datasets for accurate estimating.
- Demonstrated ability to learn systems and continuously improve estimating accuracy and efficiency.
- Leadership experience (typically 5+ years) required for management-level roles, including team development and preconstruction strategy oversight.
