Civil Construction Foreman

Description Provide on-site management and leadership to a crew of civil technicians, ensuring all jobs are completed within budget and accurately

Operate heavy machinery as needed

Read and understand construction drawings or other blueprints

Effectively and efficiently complete assigned tasks

Follow safety protocols and use PPE (personal protection equipment)
Proficient in concrete placement and finishing methods

Knowledgeable in electrical installations

Develop lay out daily plans for execution of each job Document job progress in photographs as required for customer deliverables

Manage and develop employee skills to increase jobsite productivity

Provide required paperwork and documentation regarding work practices on-site as well as achievement of production milestones

Manage job timelines, schedules, and subcontractors thoroughly and consistently

Submit daily progress reports and documentation for each job Communicate professionally with customer representatives and others who show up on-site

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent required

Verifiable work experience and references

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Ability to manage priorities and workflow

Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance

Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds

Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, climb and/or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl

Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions

Strong Microsoft Office computer skills

Must pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle check

Must possess a valid driver’s license

Should have OSHA 30
