Job Description
Lead Mechanical Engineer Opportunities near Wixom, Michigan.
A national company with a facility near Wixom, Michigan is currently seeking several Lead Mechanical Project Engineers experienced with capital equipment and assembly machine projects to join their growing team. These positions are direct hire opportunities. These are excellent opportunities for Designers, Checkers, or Engineers with a CAD background looking for a company that offers excellent management, and competitive rates and benefits.
Lead Mechanical Engineering rates are anticipated to be salaried-plus straight time-overtime based on each candidate's experience and education. Qualified Lead Mechanical Engineers will have most, if not all the following skills and experience:
- 3+ years of Mechanical Engineering and Design Experience. Must be capable of leading 3-5 Engineers and Designers.
- 3+ years of recent/relevant experience with Leading Assembly Projects from start to finish.
- 5+ years of recent/relevant experience with Solid Works CAD design and detail of weld fixtures, special machines, and assembly line equipment
- Experience with process engineering as it relates to kick-off meetings, engineering calculations, specifying equipment, BOM, client approvals and more.
- BS Degree Required.
- Must be able to work in the United States (No H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered)
- Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
