Light Guide, Inc. is the leading projected augmented reality (AR) work instruction software platform that transforms manual manufacturing processes for companies worldwide. Reports to- Application Engineering Manager
- On-site
- Describe the role and team the candidate will be joining
- Create unique augmented reality experiences using Light Guide applied to a wide variety of real-world applications.
- Set up, configure, and test equipment including, but not limited to, PC’s, PLC’s, projectors, smart torque tools, motorized spotlights, and other hardware.
- Plan and design Light Guide system structures and other components using CAD software.
- Design and prototype mounting components using 3D printing.
- Work closely with all personnel including employees, customers, and suppliers in a constructive and team-based manner.
- Prepare documentation and drawings for customers as required.
- Package and ship hardware for installation projects.
- Perform on-site system installation and service at customer locations.
- Assist with miscellaneous office duties as required.
- Continuously improve and optimize all processes related to the above work.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with CAD software (preferably Solid Works)
- Knowledgeable with 3D printing
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in one of the following disciplines:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- All school levels welcome to apply
- 2+ years’ experience in any professional or service job preferred
- 1+ years’ experience in customer-facing roles preferred
