Tsubaki Kabelschlepp America, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Estimator to support manufacturing projects for cable carriers, flexible cables, and conveyor systems. You will analyze drawings, RFQs, and specifications to develop accurate labor and material takeoffs, prepare detailed cost estimates, and build competitive proposals. Partnering closely with sales, engineering, and production, you’ll provide pricing strategies, value engineering, and risk analysis. Responsibilities- Develop accurate electrical estimates for cable carriers, conveyor systems, and machine protection projects
- Review blueprints, specifications, and RFQs to define scope, labor, and material requirements
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing to optimize cost and design solutions
- Prepare detailed proposals, cost breakdowns, and bid packages for customers
- Analyze vendor quotes and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive bids
- Maintain and update estimating databases, tools, and historical cost records
- Support regional sales efforts with technical pricing insights and value engineering options
- Participate in continuous improvement of estimating processes and standards
- Electrical estimating
- Construction / industrial estimating software
- Reading electrical blueprints and schematics
- Cost analysis and forecasting
- RFQ and bid preparation
- Value engineering
- MS Excel and ERP systems
- Vendor and material pricing analysis
- Risk assessment in estimates
- Technical communication
- Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) preferred
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- Familiarity with NEC and relevant industrial standards
