Operations Manager, Supply Chain / Intl. Trade
We are seeking a hands‑on Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse, inventory, receiving, repacking, relabeling, and shipping operations for a high‑volume automotive supplier serving Tier 1 and OEM customers throughout North America.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for ensuring flawless material flow from receipt of international shipments through final delivery to customers.
What You’ll Be Doing- Manage all warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, material handling, repacking, relabeling, and shipping
- Coordinate inbound air freight and ocean container shipments from global suppliers
- Ensure accurate receipt, storage, and inventory tracking of all materials
- Lead warehouse activities supporting Tier 1 automotive and OEM customer requirements
- Drive inventory accuracy and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Implement and maintain FIFO processes to minimize obsolescence and support engineering changes
- Develop and execute shipping schedules to meet demanding customer delivery requirements
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles
- Establish and maintain standard work procedures for warehouse and logistics processes
- Monitor KPIs and drive improvements in inventory accuracy, delivery performance, productivity, and inventory turns
- Partner closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, and Plant Leadership teams
- Participate in QRCI and problem‑solving activities to eliminate delivery disruptions
- Maintain world‑class 5S standards throughout warehouse operations
- Lead, coach, develop, and mentor warehouse and logistics personnel
- Hire, train, evaluate, and develop both salaried and hourly employees
- Create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement
- Align team performance with plant objectives and customer requirements
- Drive employee empowerment and operator‑led improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Automotive Tier 1 manufacturing experience required
- Experience managing warehouse, logistics, materials, or inventory operations
- Experience receiving international air and ocean shipments
- Experience supporting Tier 1 and OEM customer delivery requirements
- Strong inventory management and inventory control experience
- Proven leadership experience managing warehouse and logistics teams
- Strong understanding of FIFO, inventory accuracy, material flow, and continuous improvement
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Repackaging and relabeling operations
- Production Control and Logistics (PC&L)
- Customer‑specific labeling and shipping requirements
- Up to $100,000 Base Salary
- Annual Performance Bonus
