Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician position available in the Wixom, Michigan area at an established manufacturer. This is a direct hire opportunity with a pay range of $65k to $70k based on experience. The shift is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., M-F.

• Inspect assigned equipment daily and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and repair logs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and systems, develop corrective actions, and complete repairs.
• Communicate maintenance issues and equipment status to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
• Complete maintenance repairs in assigned areas.

• Assist with sourcing and ordering maintenance parts and inventory.
• Participate in safety committee activities, equipment upgrades, and Kaizen projects.
• Train employees on startup and operation of peripheral machinery.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

First day of employment, eligible to enroll in medical, dental, vision, FSA, life, LTD, etc. 401(k) eligibility is first of the month after 3 months of service with a company match of 100% of the first 4% and 50% of the next 2%.

• Experience with CNC machine repair and PLC troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of high‑voltage systems (240V/480V), wiring, schematics, and print reading.
• Familiarity with robotics and robot programming.
• Understanding of hydraulics and pumps.
• Proficiency with computer‑based maintenance software and systems.
