Polisher 2nd Shift

We are looking for a Polisher (2nd shift; 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm) that can be based at either our Wixom or Lake Orion MI facility. The Metal Finisher, under the direction of the Production Manager, will provide first‑class metal finishing to die sections and die casting tools, prior to PVD treatment according to the Oerlikon Blazers standards. This position will have significant responsibility for ensuring the overall quality control of production services provided for Forming Tools through rigorous quality checks pre‑ and post‑treatment.

The Metal Finisher will perform special projects as directed.

• Responsible for metal finishing/polishing of stamping forming die steels and die casting tools.
• Perform metallurgical checks of tooling including spectro, hardness checks, and heat‑treatment determination.
• Complete quality‑control documentation for customers as required.
• Maintain measurement devices.
• Provide additional support to the Production Manager and customers as required.

• High school graduate, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Comfortable working manually and able to lift 40 lbs.
• Strong work ethic, high energy, and detail‑oriented.
• Preferred: 1–2 years of related experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
