Print Operator
Our client is seeking an experienced Print Operator to support large‑format digital print production in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment, managing production workflow, ensuring quality standards, and meeting delivery deadlines. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with production software and equipment.
Responsibilities- Operate large‑format flatbed and digital printing equipment safely and efficiently
- Manage daily production schedules to meet customer delivery timelines
- Perform equipment setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance
- Load and unload print materials and monitor print quality throughout production
- Troubleshoot mechanical, software, and workflow‑related issues
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications and standards
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Collaborate with internal production and support teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Adapt to changing production priorities and tight deadlines
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and production throughput
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of digital printing or large‑format print production experience
- Experience operating flatbed or EFI printers preferred
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Experience with Onyx Thrive, Fiery, or similar RIP software preferred
- Basic Microsoft Office skills preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Continuous improvement mindset with strong initiative
