Summary
2nd Shift CNC Operator is responsible for fabricating a high-quality sign or printed panel to customer specifications using multiple cutting methods and materials. Utilizes Multi Cam 3000, Apex, Celero, and Kern Laser, maintaining safety while meeting customer deadlines and schedules.
Educational Requirements- High School Diploma (required)
- 1-3 years experience with Multicam CNC routers (preferred)
- Read, understand, and follow illustration and other technical drawings
- Basic math skills, including understanding measurements and using measuring devices
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust machine controls to exact positions
- Ability to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects with both hands or with arm coordination
- Ability to generate or use different sets of rules for combining or grouping items in various ways
- Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions
- Ability to time movements of equipment in anticipation of changes in speed or direction
- Director of Production
- Program and operate Multicam 3000 Series Router
- Program and operate Kern Laser Engraver
- Lift and position up to 60-pound sheets of material onto working surface
- Document fabrication production times
- Read and follow shop drawings and cut lists
- Perform maintenance on Multicam 3000 Series Router and Kern Laser Engraver
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment
- Empty dust collection units daily
- Carry lightweight prototype parts across departments
- Operate forklift/material handling equipment
- Maintain regular and routine onsite attendance
- All other assigned tasks
