Our client, a leading organization in the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking a Robot Programmer Fanuc to join their team. As a Robot Programmer Fanuc, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering Department supporting production and automation teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Robot Programmer Fanuc

Location: Wixom, Michigan

Pay Range: $48 Hourly

What's the Job?

  • Develop and modify FANUC robot programs in accordance with GM GRS standards and customer requirements.

  • Program, configure, and optimize robotic applications including material handling, spot welding, arc welding, sealing, assembly operations, and machine tending.

  • Support robot installation, startup, commissioning, and production launch activities.

  • Troubleshoot and debug robot programs, communication networks, and integrated automation systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robotic systems meet safety, quality, and production standards.

What's Needed?

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Minimum of 3+ years of FANUC robot programming experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.

  • Experience developing and modifying programs using FANUC Handling Tool, Spot Tool, Arc Tool, Paint Tool (as applicable).

  • Proficiency in robot startup, commissioning, and debugging activities.

  • Strong understanding of GM GRS standards and automotive manufacturing practices.
