GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
At American Expedition Vehicles, marketing is about understanding our customers and building awareness of how our products can take their vehicles to the nextlevel. We are seeking an experienced, analytical, and highly organized Marketing Operations Manager to strengthen the systems, processes, technology, and reporting that support our marketing efforts. This role ensures marketing activities are organized, measurable, and efficient. The Marketing Operations Manager will work closely with marketing, sales, engineering, and other internal teams to improve performance and support company objectives.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem solver who enjoys improving processes, building efficient systems, leading projects, and turning data into actionable insights.
Project & Team Leadership
- Lead marketing and advertising projects from concept through completion, ensuring objectives, timelines, responsibilities, budgets, and deliverables are clearly defined.
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, prioritizing resources based on business needsand deadlines.
- Direct and coordinate the work of marketing team members, graphic designers, social media and content creators, outside agencies, vendors, and other internal and external resources.
- Establish project expectations, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress and performance to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Develop and improve marketing processes, systems, workflows, and operational procedures.
- Manage and optimize CRM, marketing automation, analytics, advertising, and reporting platforms.
- Maintain accurate and organized marketing and customer data.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and improve efficiency.
- Document marketing processes, workflows, and system procedures.
- Ensure marketing campaigns are properly configured for tracking and measurement.
- Stay current with marketing technology, analytics, automation, search, and digital marketing best practices.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and regular marketing performance reports.
- Analyze campaign and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Track conversion rates, lead quality, campaign performance, customer acquisition, andother key marketing metrics.
- Support marketing leadership with research, analysis, forecasting, and recommendations.
- Manage lead capture, routing, tracking, and nurturing processes in partnership withsales.
- Partner with sales to improve lead management, attribution, reporting, and communication.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, engineering, and other internal teams to support company objectives.
Working knowledge of the systems, data, and performance metrics associated with:
- CRM and marketing automation
- SEO and search
- Social media
- Website and digital analytics
- Print and traditional media
- Meta and Google advertising platforms
- Marketing attribution and conversion tracking
- AIO / AEO / GEO
The expectation is that this individual understands how these channels are managed, measured, integrated, and optimized rather than personally executing all creative work.
REQUIREDSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, marketing operations, marketing analytics,revenue operations, or a related field.
- Experience managing or improving marketing systems, processes, and workflows.
- Experience managing, mentoring, or directing the work of marketing team member sand/or cross-functional resources.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms;
Hub Spot strongly preferred. - Understanding of lead management, conversion tracking, attribution, and marketingperformance measurement.
- Experience creating dashboards, reports, and KPIs.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
- Ability to work effectively across marketing, sales, engineering, and other departments.
- Automotive industry knowledge, preferably OE/aftermarket, off-road, or adventure vehicles, strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with marketing analytics, automation, integrations, or business intelligence tools is a plus.
