About the Role
Acromag is seeking a motivated and technically capable Regional Sales Manager to drive growth for our Embedded Systems product line. This role is responsible for developing new business, managing key accounts and channel partners, and helping customers identify the right embedded computing solutions for their applications.
The ideal candidate combines strong consultative sales skills with a passion for technology and embedded systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, motivate, and support manufacturer representatives, distributors, and channel partners within the assigned region
- Develop new business opportunities through marketing-generated leads, direct customer engagement, referrals, and outbound prospecting
- Work directly with customers to understand project requirements and recommend appropriate hardware and software solutions
- Manage and grow strategic customer accounts
- Promote the full portfolio of Acromag Embedded Group products
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, forecasts, and sales activities within CRM systems
- Develop and execute regional sales plans, forecasts, pipelines, and growth strategies
- Coordinate closely with field sales representatives and internal teams to ensure alignment on customer activities and opportunities
- Support quotation and proposal activities alongside inside sales staff
- Participate in trade shows, customer presentations, product launches, and marketing initiatives
- Provide customer and market feedback to product management and engineering teams
- Continuously maintain and expand product and industry knowledge
- 5+ years of technology sales experience
- Experience selling technical or industrial products
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- Knowledge of embedded computer systems, industrial computing, or related technologies
- Experience working with manufacturer representatives or channel sales networks
- A self-motivated, consultative sales professional
- Strong technical curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies
- Ability to quickly understand customer applications and business needs
- Strong customer service orientation and follow-through
- Comfortable managing multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously
- Travel approximately 5–7 days per month
- Travel includes customer visits, distributor and representative meetings, trade shows, and national sales meetings
- This position offers significant autonomy following onboarding and product training
