Sales Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our team in Wixom, MI. In this role, you will support the sales team by processing customer orders, maintaining accurate records, and serving as a primary point of contact for customers and internal departments. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and communication are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer support by responding to inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Process customer orders accurately while verifying order and shipping details.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding order status and updates.
- Maintain accurate customer records, order history, and account information within CRM and ERP systems.
- Coordinate with sales, logistics, production, and accounting teams to resolve order discrepancies, shipping delays, and product-related issues.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of company products, specifications, and pricing.
- Perform general administrative duties, including document preparation, filing, and database maintenance.
- Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience using CRM and ERP systems.
- Previous experience with SAP or SAP S/4
HANA. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or order entry.
- Experience with in the automotive supply or manufacturing industry.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to sit, stand, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
