Basic Purpose and ObjectiveWe are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Account Manager to join a growing team that delivers advanced manufacturing technologies and precision-engineered solutions to industrial customers throughout North America. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys developing long-term customer relationships while representing highly engineered equipment used in high-pressure cleaning, deburring, CNC machining, drilling, tapping, burnishing, waterjet applications, and automated production systems.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers throughout assigned territories.
- Identify opportunities to introduce advanced manufacturing technologies that improve customer productivity and operational performance.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial contact through quotation, project award, installation support, and ongoing account management.
- Collaborate closely with applications engineering, project management, service, and manufacturing teams to develop customer solutions.
- Conduct customer visits, plant tours, technical discussions, and product demonstrations.
- Understand customer manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate new business opportunities within existing accounts and target new customers.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and pricing documentation.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline activity.
- Represent the organization at industry trade shows and customer events when appropriate.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and long‑term business partner for customers.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of business-to-business sales, account management, or industrial sales experience.
- Experience selling capital equipment, manufacturing technologies, automation systems, industrial machinery, or technical products is highly preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, manufacturing leaders, and executive stakeholders
- Strong presentation and relationship‑building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and customer accounts simultaneously.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a consultative sales approach.
- Most travel is local throughout Southeast Michigan and nearby Midwestern manufacturing facilities.
- Typical travel consists of day trips to customer locations.
- Limited overnight travel may occasionally be required for customer visits, training, or trade shows.
- Travel is generally less than 20%
