Due to continued growth and increasing demand for our vehicle build programs, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering is seeking experienced High Performance Automotive Technicians to join our team. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a strong background in performance vehicles, particularly LS and LT-based engine platforms, who take pride in producing exceptional work and attention to detail.
For over 50 years, Lingenfelter has been a leader in high-performance engineering, vehicle development, and aftermarket innovation. This is an opportunity to work on some of the most exciting street, track, and specialty vehicle builds in the industry.
Responsibilities- Perform installation of high-performance aftermarket components and systems
- Diagnose, repair, and modify LS and LT-based engines and drive trains
- Complete engine swaps, supercharger installations, turbocharger installations, fuel system upgrades, and supporting modifications
- Perform mechanical assembly and vehicle build operations to Lingenfelter quality standards
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics of engine, fuel, electrical, and drivability systems
- Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and calibration teams during vehicle development and customer builds
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate build status effectively
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and with exceptional attention to detail
- 3+ years of professional automotive technician experience
- Strong knowledge of GM LS and LT engine platforms
- Experience with performance engine builds, forced induction systems, and aftermarket modifications
- Familiarity with EFI systems, fuel systems, and vehicle electrical diagnostics
- Ability to read technical documents, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions
- ASE certifications are required
- Performance industry experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Passion for high-performance vehicles and motorsports
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
