Job Overview

We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair heavy‑duty vehicles and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

• Perform thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Repair and maintain engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and fluid checks.
• Inspect and service hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues; develop effective repair solutions.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment, technical manuals, and schematics for troubleshooting.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and record maintenance activities accurately.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate repair status to supervisors and customers.

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal apprenticeship or technical training in heavy‑duty mechanics preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a heavy‑duty mechanic (preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing heavy‑duty vehicles.
• Familiarity with a wide range of tools, diagnostic devices, and industry equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and commitment to quality workmanship.
