Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician position available in the Wixom, Michigan area located at our client location who is an established manufacturer.

The Maintenance Technician position is a direct hire opportunity with a pay range of $65k to $70k based on experience. This is a 1st shift opportunity with a schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., M-F.

Primary responsibilities for the maintenance technician position:

• Inspect assigned equipment daily and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and repair logs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and systems, develop corrective actions, and complete repairs.
• Communicate maintenance issues and equipment status to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
• Complete maintenance repairs in assigned areas.

Secondary responsibilities:

• Assist with sourcing and ordering maintenance parts and inventory.
• Participate in safety committee activities, equipment upgrades, and Kaizen projects.
• Train employees on startup and operation of peripheral machinery.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required experience and skills:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with CNC machine repair and PLC troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of high-voltage systems (240V/480V), wiring, schematics, and print reading.
• Familiarity with robotics and robot programming.
• Understanding of hydraulics and pumps.
• Proficiency with computer-based maintenance software and systems.
