Window And Door Installation Team Member

Deck King Enterprises LLC is looking for a dependable, skilled, and motivated Window & Door Installation Team Member to join our growing installation team. We are a local, Veteran-Led exterior remodeling company focused on quality workmanship, professionalism, and taking care of our customers.

This position will work alongside our Window & Door Installation Team Lead performing residential window and door replacements throughout our service area. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands that the small details matter, and can work efficiently as part of a crew.

• Assist with removal of existing windows, exterior doors, patio doors, and related materials.
• Install replacement and full-frame windows and doors according to project specifications and manufacturer requirements.
• Assist with extension jambs, interior casing, trim, shimming, insulation, backer rod, caulking, flashing, and weatherproofing.
• Assist with exterior aluminum wrapping and finish work.
• Properly flash and seal window and door openings to provide a weather-tight installation.
• Complete minor framing, sheathing, drywall, trim, and carpentry repairs associated with installations.
• Load, unload, stage, and protect windows, doors, tools, and project materials.
• Assist with material pickups and transportation to jobsites as needed.
• Protect customer flooring, landscaping, furniture, and surrounding finishes during construction.
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite throughout the project.
• Perform demolition and dispose of construction debris appropriately.
• Follow instructions from the Team Lead and Project Manager.
• Identify damaged materials, concealed damage, incorrect measurements, or other potential problems and report them before proceeding.
• Complete punch-list and warranty/service work as assigned.
• Maintain company tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable jobsite requirements.
• Maintain professional conduct and respectful communication while working at customers' homes.
• Assist other Deck King crews and trades when needed.

Previous residential construction, carpentry, window installation, door installation, remodeling, or exterior construction experience is preferred
, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong mechanical ability and a willingness to learn.

Candidates should be comfortable using common hand and power tools, reading a tape measure accurately, working from ladders, lifting and maneuvering windows and doors with another crew member, and performing physically demanding construction work.

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. The ability to safely operate company vehicles, including a box van or truck and trailer, is preferred.

. Showing up on time, communicating problems, protecting the customer's property, keeping the jobsite clean, and producing quality work are just as important as installation speed.

This is a team position. Employees must be willing to take direction, help other crew members, learn new installation methods, and occasionally assist with other exterior remodeling work when required.

Projects may include replacement windows, full-frame windows, entry doors, storm doors, sliding patio doors, interior and exterior trim, aluminum wrapping, flashing, weatherproofing, minor framing, and associated finish carpentry.
