Job Summary
Drive company trucks and load/unload materials to meet or exceed customer expectations by delivering a positive and professional customer experience.
- Be familiar with the delivery territory and complete routes efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to operate trucks safely and obey and adhere to applicable laws and regulations.
- Unload and load materials and shipments, handling with care
- Make timely deliveries while maintaining a friendly, helpful relationship with customers.
- Secure all materials to prevent accidents, damage, and/or loss.
- Accurately complete driver logs, including stops, hours of operation, and vehicle inspections.
- Adhere to federal, state, local driving laws and DOT and FMCSA regulations, such as pre-trip inspections and driver logs.
- Maintain vehicle fluid levels, air pressures, and vehicle cleanliness inside and out.
- Back up warehouse personnel
- Effective use of cell phone and hands-free equipment while driving
- Working knowledge of federal, state, local driving laws, DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; or
- Two years commercial driving experience; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Chauffeurs License - with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass operator exam and drive powered industrial equipment

- Frequently required to sit for long periods of time;

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include clear vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more, depth perception, and color vision.
- Work performed primarily outside, exposure to extreme weather, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
