Local CDL B Truck Driver – Home Daily

Location: Wixom, MI

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM – 05:00 PM

Compensation: $23.75 – $26.75 per hour; overtime at 1.5× base rate (expected annual earned $50,400 – $66,700, depending on experience, hours, and bonuses).

As a Class B truck driver, you will deliver merchandise to various locations, make multiple daily stops, and return home each day while ensuring safe and timely delivery that complies with all transportation regulations.

• Deliver counter top and flooring materials safely and efficiently.
• Support warehouse and logistics operations.
• Assist with loading, unloading, handling, and organizing materials.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and inventory placement of products.
• Secure cargo using blocks, ties, straps, chains, and binders per safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment; follow all safety protocols.
• Conduct basic checks and inspections of materials and equipment as needed.
• Operate delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment safely and remain alert at all times.
• Exhibit patience, professionalism, and courteous demeanor with team members and customers.
• Communicate effectively (verbal and written) to coordinate deliveries and warehouse activities.
• Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a customer-focused approach and service quality.
• Work independently with strong attention to detail and task focus.
• Perform additional duties as required or requested.

• Valid Class B Driver’s License.
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable heavy‑duty driving experience.
• Warehouse experience including material handling, inventory organization, and order picking.
• Comfortable making local deliveries with multiple stops.
• Successful completion of driving test and all DOT pre‑employment requirements.
• Safety‑minded with proficiency in maintaining a legal and accurate logbook.
• Capable of understanding and interpreting bills of lading and picking sheets.
• Experience assisting with loading, unloading, and proper storage of materials in a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
• Previous experience utilizing an iPad or tablet is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

• Generate 137 lbs of vertical push/pull force.
• Lift and transfer 55 lbs.
• Carry at least 30 lbs along the truck bed.
• Ascend and descend a multi‑rung ladder.
• Frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch.
• Work at an elevated height of 72 inches while assembling strap, tie, ratchet, nut, bolt, or other securing equipment.
• Work at a lowered height of 6 inches while assembling strap, tie, ratchet, nut, bolt, or other securing equipment.
• Position is safety‑sensitive.
