BASIC PURPOSE
The Coordinator, Slotting supports an efficient warehouse by assigning products to pick and reserve slots and performing clerical and warehouse slotting duties.
PAY & HOURS$22.00/hour
Weekly pay Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

- Utilize Manhattan software to slot products in all warehouse areas (dry, cooler, freezer, PIR) to promote a safe working environment, maximize warehouse efficiency, and minimize errors.
- Perform accurate slotting of new items as well as daily slotting moves to increase productivity and cases per pallet.
- Monitor, research, and respond to Slot Check inquiries to answer internal questions about item placement.
- Support Inventory Control to research and reconcile damaged product.
- Support daily replenishment priorities to promote warehouse efficiency and reduce spoilage.
- Perform regular audits (aisle audits, rack labels, TI/HI, and pallet put-aways).
- Communicate daily with warehouse leadership about work status, receiving errors, or safety concerns.

The work takes place at a desk in a US Foods office-based environment and in normal warehouse environments, including cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as –5°F.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Experience and RequirementsMinimum two years of experience in a warehouse administrative or clerical position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Effective communication, both verbal and written.
- Excellent telephone and customer service ability.
- Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Problem solving and critical thinking abilities to solve problems of limited scope.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division.
High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Prior slotting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service Regulations.
- Knowledge of our geographic delivery area.
XATA and Checkpoint experience.

The expected base rate for this role is between $17.00 and $26.00, depending on relevant experience, education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors applicable by law.
