Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving & Inventory Specialist to support warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for receiving, verifying, and processing incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of components to the production floor.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Inspect materials for damage, shortages, and quality issues (OS&D)
- Accurately enter inventory data using WMS/ERP systems and handheld scanners
- Label, organize, and store inventory for efficient access and tracking
- Maintain receiving, crib, and staging areas in a clean and organized manner
- Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Pull and stage materials based on production work orders
- Return unused materials to stock and ensure accurate system updates
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely
- Maintain documentation including BOLs, receiving reports, and freight claims
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3+ years of receiving, inventory, or warehouse experience
- Experience with inventory systems or WMS preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- Active warehouse setting with regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting (25+ lbs)
- Exposure to typical warehouse conditions, including equipment and materials
