Senior Accountant

Mid-sized professional services company is seeking a Senior Accountant to add to their team. The Senior Accountant supports the organization’s financial operations by ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and timely analysis of financial information. This role plays a key part in the month-end close process, audit support, and ongoing financial analysis, while also providing guidance to junior accounting staff.

• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes across multiple accounts or entities
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances and trends
• Maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting
• Assist with audit, tax, and compliance-related activities
• Support day‑to‑day accounting operations, including accounts payable and cash‑related activities
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience preferred
