Senior Accountant - SEC Reporting & Technical Acco

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant - SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting in the greater Boston/North, MA area.

Summary:

A high-growth, publicly traded technology company at the forefront of the semiconductor and AI space is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its expanding finance team. This is a newly created role offering strong exposure to SEC reporting, technical accounting, and cross-functional finance initiatives.

• Support preparation of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), disclosures, and footnotes
• Perform tie-outs, disclosure checklists, and reporting quality controls
• Assist with XBRL and external reporting processes
• Research technical accounting issues and draft memos
• Support accounting for areas such as revenue recognition, equity, and other complex transactions
• Contribute to SOX compliance and audit support
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, Tax, and Accounting teams
• Help drive process improvements across reporting and close cycles

• Cash-strong, scaling business in the semiconductor + AI space
• ~30% growth year-over-year
• Recently built out finance leadership in the Boston area
• Hybrid model (approx. 4 days onsite) with flexibility

• 2-4 years of public accounting experience (SEC clients preferred)
• Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Detail-oriented, motivated, and comfortable in a deadline-driven environment
• CPA or CPA track strongly preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.

Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
