A well-established and growing public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join its collaborative team. This newly created position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional to work closely with firm leadership, gain significant client exposure, and build a long-term career path within a respected CPA firm.
The ideal candidate will have strong public accounting experience, technical tax knowledge, and the desire to take on increasing responsibility over time. This role will provide exposure to a diverse client base, including closely held businesses, individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporations.

- Prepare and review individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax returns
- Assist with tax planning, research, and advisory projects
- Analyze tax issues and provide recommendations to clients
- Prepare and review tax work papers and supporting documentation
- Mentor and review the work of junior team members
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and engagement efficiency
- 4+ years of current or recent public accounting tax experience
- Strong technical skills in individual, trust, partnership, and corporate taxation
- Working knowledge of partnership and S-Corporation tax issues impacting individual returns
- Ability to research tax issues and communicate solutions effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- CPA preferred, but candidates actively pursuing their CPA will be considered
- Experience with CCH Axcess or similar tax software preferred
- Full-time, onsite initially with potential hybrid flexibility over time

The expected salary range for this position is $90,000-$125,000
