The Team

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join American Tower’s U.S. Accounting team. The U.S. Accounting team properly records and reports the Company’s U.S. Tower division’s revenue and direct expenses for both the tower and managed networks businesses. The Accounting team also supports the operational teams by providing reporting over areas they are responsible for (including fixed assets, repairs and maintenance, and utilities), while ensuring adherence to GAAP and internal accounting policies.

Day to day activities include overseeing a team to ensure (a) monthly closes are completed in accordance with time and quality standards, (b) all activity is accurately captured in the subledger and captured correctly within the general ledger, (c) accrual accounting is recognized in line with internal accounting policies, (d) analyses needed for effective control over and understanding of the general ledger are developed and maintained, and (e) various internal stakeholders with an interest in financial results have access to information needed to complete their processes.
