Deposit Operations Specialist

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Deposit Operations Specialist is responsible for processing all deposit operations related items, including items processing, incoming and outgoing wires, review mobile capture items, and interdepartmental operational support.

• Support daily exceptions processing including incoming, outgoing returns and non-post
• Follow established procedures surrounding the process of Domestic and International incoming and outgoing wires.
• Review mobile deposited checks while adhering to Northern Bank guidelines and endorsement requirements
• Provide support to internal resources such as responding to inquiries, conducting research and conducting deposit account maintenance and monetary transactions
• Respond to account verification requests
• Cross train to perform other functions as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Background in bank operations, including retail and back-office area
• Excellent communication skills, knowledge of Word and Excel applications
• 2 years of operational or branch experience
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Well organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to assist front end staff and branches in a friendly and knowledgeable manner

The hourly rate range for the Deposit Operations Specialist is $22.50 - $33.50 per hour
