Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly accurate, and skilled in evaluating project plans and specifications to prepare precise cost estimates. This role plays a key part in supporting project planning, budgeting, and successful execution of drywall and interior construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze plans and specifications to prepare accurate written bids and proposals.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with local material, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Stay up-to-date with all applicable local, city, and state building codes within assigned areas.
  • Supervise and mentor project engineers and assistant estimators to support professional development and organizational growth.
  • Continuously expand expertise across all product lines, including drywall, acoustical, doors/frames/hardware (Division
    8), and specialties (Division 10).

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Estimator or 5–7 years of overall relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding goals with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Strong commitment to personal and professional excellence.
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check.
  • Required to sign a Confidentiality, Non-Disclosure, and Non-Solicitation Agreement.
