Summary
A growing commercial construction organization is seeking an experienced Estimator - Specialties (Division 10) to join its Pre-Construction team in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and estimating skills who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.
About the Opportunity
The company provides construction services with expertise in drywall, masonry, concrete and masonry restoration, structural strengthening, building envelope restoration, doors/frames/hardware (Division
8), and specialties (Division 10).

- Interpret construction drawings and specifications to prepare accurate written proposals and bid estimates
- Develop and maintain knowledge of local material, labor, and equipment costs
- Maintain familiarity with applicable local, municipal, and state building codes
- Support, mentor, and train assistant estimators and project engineers
- Continuously expand technical knowledge related to drywall, acoustical systems, doors/frames/hardware (Division
8), and specialties (Division 10) - Collaborate with project teams to ensure competitive and accurate estimating practices
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of estimating experience as an Assistant Estimator or 5-7 years of overall related construction industry experience
- Experience in commercial construction estimating preferred
- Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to meet or exceed goals with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated with a proactive mindset
- Strong commitment to professionalism, accuracy, and quality standards
