Project Manager

At Diverzify+ and our Family of Brands, our Project Manager is responsible for comprehensive oversight of the entire project lifecycle for industrial flooring projects, ensuring seamless coordination of labor, materials, and equipment across all phases. They enforce strict adherence to project specifications and quality standards while proactively managing schedules and budgets to guarantee timely and cost-effective project completion. Through effective leadership and continuous monitoring, the PM drives operational efficiency, mitigates risks, and ensures client expectations are consistently met or exceeded.

Responsibilities include serving as liaison between clients, company, and crew, running the job daily, and assisting the sales team with all necessary modifications to ensure projects remain profitable. They communicate with mills and distributors to determine product availability, track materials for jobs, and confirm all needed equipment is on-site prior to crew arrival. The Project Manager oversees performance to ensure all specifications and regulations are being followed, administers installation contracts, and tracks and controls schedules and associated costs to achieve completion of projects within the time and budget allocated.

They report to the Sales and Corporate Management team about progress and any necessary plan modifications, communicate job schedules to coordinate with the client, the general contractor, and/or Field Supervisor, and determine steps necessary to meet project deadlines. They perform consistent, timely follow-up with suppliers, make freight arrangements for product shipments in the most expeditious and cost-effective manner, and follow-up is essential, including evening and weekend contact as needed.

The Project Manager coordinates all change orders in writing and tracks changes to ensure proper completion and billing, monitors installations for meeting schedules and quality standards, approves installation bills, and maintains required documentation in job folders and on the computer system to support the projects. They prepare job folders for invoicing, receive punch list and repair calls, determine responsibility for repairs, prepare cost estimates if necessary, review invoices and charge back to primary installers accordingly.

Qualifications include 5+ years of Project Management experience in Flooring Installation, a High School Diploma/GED, ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and layouts, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, strong mathematical skills for product calculations, knowledge of installation procedures/flooring products, and ability to travel to job sites. Preferred Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management.
