Medical Secretary

• Serve as a frontline representative of BILH Primary Care
• Provide customer service to patients and staff
• Handle phone interactions
• Perform patient registration
• Schedule appointments
• Collect co-pays and handle billing
• Make appointment confirmation calls
• Help ensure patients receive the right care at the right time
• Create a positive patient experience as the first impression of the office

• High School Degree or GED
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume customer service-related position
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong PC skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Staff must be vaccinated against influenza (flu) as a condition of employment

Demonstrates strong customer service skills and effective communication abilities while managing patient interactions and administrative tasks in a high-volume healthcare environment. Proficient in multitasking and ensuring a positive patient experience through efficient appointment scheduling and registration.
