Marketing Content Writer - Mandarin Fluency

Ivy Talent Education is seeking a full-time Marketing Content Writer with Mandarin Fluency to join our marketing team and produce high-quality, authoritative content for families navigating the U.S. education and admissions landscape. This role is responsible for creating long-form editorial content and video scripts that reflect the discretion, rigor, and credibility expected of a premium advisory brand.

The ideal candidate is a writer who combines intellectual curiosity, editorial judgment, and an understanding of admissions with a thoughtful, ethically grounded approach to AI-assisted research and writing. Trust, accuracy, and integrity are foundational to this role.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct rigorous research in English on admissions processes, policies, timelines, and institutional expectations.
• Use AI tools selectively and responsibly to support research synthesis, outlining, and early drafts. Ensure all final content reflects original analysis, professional judgment, and a refined human voice.
• Independently verify facts, validate sources, and review AI-assisted material to uphold accuracy and credibility.
• Collaborate closely with other marketing team members and education consultants at Ivy Talent to ensure consistency in voice, standards, and messaging.
• Edit and refine content to meet a high-quality standard in clarity, tone, and structure.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing,Journalism, or related field.
• Exceptional Chinese writing, editing, and analytical skills.
• 1 - 2+ years of experience producing long-form, high-quality editorial or advisory content.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, including its limitations, risks, and appropriate role in professional content creation.
• Ability to communicate complex admissions concepts with precision, nuance, and restraint.

Preferred qualifications:

• Direct knowledge of the U.S. admissions ecosystem (college, private school, or graduate admissions).
• Experience creating marketing content for admissions consulting, education advising, or high-end professional services.
• Experience in writing targeting international families, particularly those considering U.S. education pathways as well as bilingual families located within the U.S.

Ivy Talent’s office in Woburn is located 10 miles outside of Boston, Massachusetts. The office is easily accessible by both MBTA Bus #134 and car (with free garage parking).

Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000 per year.
